Top Ten Batsman of Indian Cricket Team

Today I like to write about Top Ten Batsman of Indian Cricket Team as there are always legends in every team which are remain memorable for long time and as my last Hub which I have written about " Top Ten Batsman of Pakistan Cricket Team " have been much interesting , useful and beautiful Hub in viewers who read that.

Well I have one of my best friend from India " Hridyam Arora " who is also the biggest fan of Cricket have helped me in making top ten lists. The list is makeup by both of us according to our thinking so if you find some one up and down don't worry this is not official list of Top Ten Batsman of Indian Cricket Team. Here I will write in brief about their career and achievements and here they are

Any one who is the great fan of cricket and whenever he hears the name of Sachin Tendulkar he will say one thing about him surely

Sachin is the best batsman of the cricket history.The career of Sachin Tendulkar is full of records and achievements from the start of 16 age to the date till today. India produced the legend cricketer and till today he is hitting records and records. Sachin Tendulkar is the top leading batsman and scored highest runs in TEST and ODI both debut. Sachin Tendulkar is the top batsman who ever have scored over more then 200 runs in ODI match. Tendulkar have now standing at 99 centuries including 48 ODI and 51 test career. In presence of Tendulkar the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM won the World Cup 2011. Sachin Tendulkar was the top batsman who have scored more then 50 centuries in Test Career.Sachin Tendulkar also have crossed 50 centuries including all international cricket combined.Sachin Tendulkar has break the unbreakable record of Brian Lara of test cricket in 2008. Sachin Tendulkar there are more and more success he have , his life is full of records , award Padma Vibhushan India's second highest civilian award. Beside this Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the best sports player award Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna.Sachin have the world record of playing highest test and ODI cricket matches. Sachin loves to play straight drive shots and have hitted many centuries in his career. He loves to play the ball over square. The batting style of Sachin Tendulkar is amazing and one and only and the best.

Sunil Gavaskar the former Indian cricketer and played in 1970 to 1980s. Sunil was famous as the best opener batsman in the history of cricket. In his career he set highest and top centuries and top scores in test career which later on breaked by Sachin Tendulkar in 2005. Sunil also scored over 10,000 runs in test career which was the best record of him. Gavaskar playing style was awesome and he is famous for his defending batting and his memorable score in World Cup of 1983 are 103 and he remain not out. Although he make only one ODI century in his career but he will remain memorable as the top best opener batsman in INDIAN cricket team. His captaincy give not good luck to INDIAN cricket team as under him they lost 31 matches without any victory.Sunil was the best bowler also and have taken high wickets in his career and his bowling technique is most famous in his career.

Rahul Dravid who is famous as " THE WALL OF INDIAN CRICKET " is the former best batsman of Indian Cricket Team. Rahul Dravid have also one of the record taker in the history of cricket. Rahul Dravid was the top most player who have highest catches in test cricket more then 200. Rahul Dravid was playing amazing shots all round the ground. Rahul Dravid was the 6th player in International Cricket and 3rd Player in Indian cricket who scored more then 10000 runs in test cricket. Rahul was the second Indian batsman who have scored more then 12000 runs in International cricket. Rahul Dravid was famous as best batsman of history of cricket having different records and achievements. Rahul was also awarded as the ICC PLAYER OF THE YEAR in his career. The best and amazing record which only Dravid have as he is the only player who have scored test centuries among all nations who played test cricket.

Virender Sehwag is one of the best leading batsman and famous for his " aggressive batting " in Indian Cricket Team. Due to his aggressive batting he setup and breaks many records. Sehwag is the right handed opener batsman as well the right arm spinner of Indian Cricket Team. Sehwag is the only batsman who scored 319 as the highest score in Indian test cricket and the world fastest triple century record. Virender Sehwag is also among those four top legends players who have passed over triple century twice time. Sehwag also have fastest record of 250 scores. Virender Sehwag was the only player who has been honoured as the Wisden Leading cricketer in the world. Sehwag batting style was mostly resemble with Tendulkar but his powerful off side shot as well square cutting shots. Sehwag was also called as the " most exciting openers in the world " as of his aggressive batting style which was also famous for Shahid Khan Afridi. Sehwag life is a bit involve in controversy due to his aggressiveness and due to his excessive appealing he get banned from test cricket also. Sehwag is now controlled his aggressive nature and now his batting is playing winning innings for India.

Sourav Ganguly is the former left handed batsman of Indian Cricket Team. Sourav Ganguly was remembered as the " most successful captain " of Indian Cricket Team. Sourav Ganguly was the 5th highest runs taker by any cricketer in International Cricket. His batting makes a step by step success to him and he became famous when he scored the partnership of 318 runs along with Rahul Dravid in World Cup which is the highest partnership record in World Cup in the history of cricket. Sourav Ganguly was the 4th highest player of Indian Cricket team who have highest score in test matches. Ganguly was the fastest player who hit 11000 runs in ODI career in India. It was Ganguly and his captaincy , that the great player like Sachin and Dravid have no problems , and many reviews said that under Captaincy of Ganguly , India started to winning matches.It was Ganguly who have the highest record of test match winning under his captaincy. Ganguly is the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders owned by Shahrukh Khan of Indian Premier League. Ganguly was loved to played off side shots and most of his shots are off square cut , cover drive with full powers. Rahul Dravid called Ganguly as " next to God on off-side ". The career of Ganguly leads Indian Cricket Team to the sky and his achievements will be remain memorable as best captain produced by India.

V.V.S Laxman is the former Indian player who plays right handed and one of the best batsman of Indian Team. Laxman have a very amazing nickname " very very special " and he plays also with using wrists and mostly play leg side shots. Laxman is mostly been targeted against Australia where he setup records in test as well in ODI career. Laxman loves to hit the spin bowler as his timing is very best. Very Very Special makes amazing record against Australia of 281 scores gives Indian Team a amazing success. In short he will remain be in memories as very very special legend produced by India.

Mohammed Azharuddin is the former cricketer of Indian Cricket Team and now the political leader of Indian National Congress. He was famous for his batting and as well he is the captain of Indian Team.Azharuddin has the graceful batting style having wrist flick was his best shot against spinners.Mohammed Azharuddin have the best quality of wrist flicking shots and he made centuries along with unique in his first and last match. He was the batsman who make first three century in three consecutive tests.Under Azharuddin captaincy , India won 103 ODI matches which is the the record till to date and he was remembered as the best captain that Indian team have in ODI. As Ganguly crossed him by winning more test matches in his captaincy. The career of Azharuddin ends up due to the match fixing reasons. The death of his son was the great loss by Azharuddin and currently Mohammed Azharuddin is a political leader and also won elections. The period of Mohammed Azharuddin was remembered as the graceful period in Indian Cricket team.

Gundappa Viswanath is the former Indian Cricket Player and one of the finest batsman of Indian Team. Viswanath also called as Vishy have marked the century in his first test innings and on the second innings he was out at duck which is very rare. He make total of 14 centuries in his test career in which all matches are won by Indian team having one drawn.Vishy was the best batsman and played all over the ground having favorite was the square cut shot , which he played against the fast bowlers.In one of his innings against West Indies Viswanath marked 97 runs which was considered as the finest runs leading Indian Team to Victory. Viswanath was awarded Col. C K Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 by BCCI which is one of the highest awards given in Indian cricket team.

Dilip Vengsarka also famous for his nickname as " Colonel " is the former right handed cricket player of Indian Cricket Team. Colonel was famous for his stylish batting. He have made a great score and centuries against Pakistan , Australia, England , West Indies and Srilanka.At his period , he was famous as the best batsman of Indian team. Dilip was one of the batsman who at his time makes 6 centuries against West Indies which was amazing performance of his time. One of his great match played and win for India against England give him the man of the match award.At now Dilip runs three cricket academy in which two are in Mumbai and one in Pune. These academies give cricket training freely to the selected players and do their best to make them a skillful player.

Navjot Sidhu is the former Indian Cricket player and politician as Azharuddin. He makes his first century against Pakistan in Sharja and his 134 against England was the highest score of Navjot Sidhu in his career and he himself called it as his best score. At that time he scores over 500 three times which is the best performance and he also scores 201 in his Test Career which was his highest score of that time. He was hitting to spinners and his astonishing 8 sixes against Srilanka was amazing performance of Navjot Sidhu. He holds 27 centuries in his short career of 18 years. The two nickname which was famous as " Sixer Sidhu " due to his batting performances and sixes and " Jonty Singh " due to his improved fielding all his career. Sidhu later also become a commentator in ESPN Star Sports. Sidhu was later resigns from politics also because he was convicted of Homicide. Sidhu was remember as the best performance player which he gave to Indian Cricket Team.

I know many of you are thinking of some changing about adding of players like Vijay Manjreker, Chandu Borde,Dilip Sardesai,Sandeep Patil,Sanjay Manjerker , V.Hazare , Mohinder Amarnath are all great players of their time and Yuvraj and MS Dhoni are of recent times. They are all great players and legends. I am sure Yuvraj will be in top ten players when he finished his career also.

Legends are always remembered by us and these are great legends of Indian Cricket Team as Top Ten Batsman of Indian Cricket Team.
